Instant Credit
Provide instant access to credit line at aquisition time without revealing real account details
Instant Credit enables issuers with instant credit card issuance programs to mitigate risk by leveraging Orbiscom's ControlPay™ Platform number generation and spending limits capabilities.

Overview
- Instant Credit provides card applicants with access to a portion of their new credit line before the underwriting process is complete and plastic is fulfilled
- The number provided to the applicant is not their real card number
- This number is a valid credit card number which fronts the new account
- This number may be:
- good for a single purchase of no more than a pre-set limit (different from real card account limit)
- good for multiple purchases at a single merchant
- good for multiple purchases at different merchants etc.
- Spending limits can include cumulative spend, transaction value, validity period, merchant/merchant category restrictions, no. of transactions, etc.
- This number will have a very short validity period
- This number will not be valid when the applicant receives (and activates) their real card unless issuer wishes this to be the case
How it Works
- Issuer qualifies card applicant as normal
- After the credit scoring process, issuer will use the ControlPay™ platform to generate a Controlled Payment Number™ (CPN) with specific spending controls
- A CPN is a valid card number which is linked to the applicant�s just issued primary account or shadow line
- Issuer provides CPN to the consumer to use immediately
- Issuer may:
- provide number to consumer on screen
- send number directly to consumers mobile phone for use in a 'Card Not Present' transaction or for use in contactless transactions if phone has an RFID chip
- send number directly to merchant, in the case of a co-branded card application where the application was triggered during a purchase
- Real PAN is never revealed to consumer until full credit underwriting is complete triggering plastic fulfillment

- CPN spending limits further reduce financial risk by limiting the spend that can occur using the CPN => lowered risk exposure
